| Twynholm Just two miles north west of Kirkcudbright sits Twynholm, a village that started life during the 16th century and now boasts the world’s most comprehensive collection of Formula 1 memorabilia for any driver.
Twynholm is home to The David Coulthard Museum and Pit Stop Diner and boasts items from champagne bottles popped by David on various podiums around the world to the actual cars and karts raced by David Coulthard during his career.
The remainder of Twynholm feels more typical of Southern Scotland with its lines of white painted and stone cottages, the parish church dating back to 1818 and two hotels.
