Property Description

Just minutes from the shores of Loch Ryan and its lovely beaches at Kirkcolm and Lady Bay this two bedroom holiday cottage makes a superb base from which to tour and explore the Rhinns Peninsula and South West Scotland.   The end terrace cottage is peacefully located with views over open farmland ensuring a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Logan Botanic Gardens with its exotic species made possible by the warm gulf stream is not to be missed and for light house baggers you have a choice of the quaint Corsewall Lighthouse just ten minutes away from the cottage or the Mull of Galloway at the south tip of the peninsula with its well-known restaurant and gift shop.   South West Scotland is superb for wildlife and walking. The Galloway Forest Park is within easy reach with superb opportunities for mountain bike riding on the 7Stanes Trails.    The super beaches of  Luce Bay are worth seeing either from the Rhinns side at Sandhead or taking a quiet drive down from Glenluce to Port William with its quiet and picturesque fishing villages.   The busy fishing village of Portpatrick is within easy reach with a good selection of pubs and hotels for eating out whilst watching the activities of the harbour.   Portpatrick also gives access to pleasant and attractive coastal cliff walks.

This cottage will make a perfect holiday base and provide opportunity for peace and relaxation in one of the most picturesque parts of Scotland.
