First Floor: 1 Double bedroom. 2 Twin bedrooms (one with narrow entrance door). Bathroom with separate shower. Electric heating plus open fire in the sitting room (fuel provided). Washing machine. Dishwasher. Fridge. Freezer. Electric cooker. Microwave. TV with DVD. Radio/cassette. Traditional cot with mattress. Ample parking. Large garden (please note that the foot of the garden is not enclosed and is a fairly steep bank so young children should be supervised in this part of the garden). Patio with garden furniture. The village of Kippford, situated on the river estuary and well known as a sailing centre, is one of the most popular and scenic holiday destinations in Dumfries and Galloway. There are two pubs serving food within walking distance and local shops within easy access,one being a ten minute walk from the house. This is an ideal base for an active holiday or the perfect place to relax and unwind.
There are lovely walks in the area including the scenic coastal walk between Kippford and the nearby coastal village of Rockcliffe, many sandy beaches and golf courses are within a short drive and part of the 7Stanes mountain bike network is within a 5 minute drive of the house.
