Description
Carse Bay was founded by Danish Vikings and used as a fishing and coastal trading port. It was on the sandy shores of this beach that allowed ships to become beached on a falling tide to unload their goods. Today, the cockling industry has been revived on these shores by proffessional collectors and many tourists visit the beach for its stunning views.
