Property Description

MORLICH HOUSE was built around 1840 in the age of Victorian splendour. It was built by a Glasgow mill owner as his country residence and called Killen. Eventually it was taken over by Warriston School and the name changed to Ebenholm in memory of the First World War. It then became part of Burnbraes Girl's before passing back into private ownership when the owners changed the name to MORLICH HOUSE after Loch Morlich near Aviemore. MORLICH HOUSE. An award winning family run Guest House. Set in half an acre garden, sheltered by mature limes, copper beach and Canadian maple trees overlooking the town. MORLICH HOUSE offers our guests a quiet secluded area, only half a a mile from the centre of Moffat, ideal holiday accommodation in Dumfriesshire. The impressive entrance hall features a beautiful pitch pine staircase winding majestically up to the bedrooms. All the bedrooms are en-suite (with the exception of a single room which has a private toilet/shower). The bedrooms all have shaver socket, colour T.V., radio/alarms, tea/coffee facilities, honesty bars, direct dial telephone and have views over surrounding hills.
