Old Dailly

Old Dailly is now little more than a hamlet with its old school, a few private cottages, four council houses and a village hall, which was built and gifted to the community by the Todd family of Trochrague. The main feature of Old Dailly is it's ruined 14th century church and churchyard.

The church at Old Dailly was an important centre for the ancient parish, which was named Dalmakerran and around it were several dwellings, a mill and a manse. The Old Dailly churchyard contains the graves of several covenanters and two Charter Stones, which are mentioned in Sir Walter Scott's "Lord of The Isles". is committed to giving only the most up to date and relevant information about our region.

We are currently looking for tourist and accommodation information about this village to be contributed by the community and look forward to displaying it in the near future.
