Ardrossan is situated on the firth of Clyde on the west coast of Scotland. Today it is hopping off point to the Isle of Arran with modern ferry port and a popular marina development, nearby.
Although the town of Ardrossans' heydays have passed, there are many reminders of Ardrossans more glamorous past with some very fine buildings constructed when the Clyde coast was a popular holiday destination for the residents of the cities of the Central Belt.
